CPN was ranked as one of the listed companies with “Excellence Corporate Governance Scoring” according to its corporate governance performance through out the year. The Corporate Governance of Thai Listed Companies 2009 Survey was conducted by National Corporate Governance Committee in collaboration with The Thai Institute of Directors (IOD), The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), and The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Thai listed companies are evaluated according to 132 criteria in the following five major principles namely; shareholders rights, equitable treatment of the shareholders, roles of stakeholders, disclosure and transparency, and Board of Directors' responsibilities.
